As Assistant Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering a great experience to our guests. With a keen eye for detail, an organised approach and a 'we can do attitude' and a genuine want to exceed our guest's experience. Hotel experience in a hands-on role and an ability to work off your own initiative is a must.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in working in all areas of food and beverage in a hotel operation including running weddings, banqueting and conference.
  • Good knowledge and experience in restaurant & bars.
  • Great ability to motivate, communicate and support your colleagues and be a keen driver of standards.
  • Planning of staffing effectively in accordance with business needs.
  • Enthusiastic team player wanting to make your mark on the business.
  • Training and monitoring of health & safety training and awareness of HR legislation.
  • Duty management experience preferred but training will be given.

With 50 stunning bedrooms and our superb Grill on the Hill restaurant offering a relaxed dining experience for up to 70 guests, the Alderley Edge Hotel is an iconic Cheshire institution. You will have the opportunity to constantly develop and progress your career. We also offer a Lounge Bar menu and banqueting and events for up to 120 guests. Front of house, we offer a superb range of quality cocktails, excellent wines and premium spirits. We're a close-knit team who strive to provide the very best in customer service. Whether back of house or out front, under the leadership of General Manager Linda, you will have the opportunity to be your best every day all whilst working as part of a fun and friendly team. We are located close by to all major motorway networks & are easily accessed from Wilmslow, Macclesfield, Stockport, Knutsford and south Manchester.
