We are seeking an experienced and motivated Corporate Tax Senior to take responsibility for managing a varied portfolio of corporate tax clients, delivering high-quality compliance services. You will support clients in navigating complex tax matters, ensuring technical excellence and outstanding client service. The role requires strong technical knowledge, confident client handling skills, and the ability to review and support the work of junior team members while contributing to the wider success of the tax team.

The Role

  • Managing a portfolio of corporate clients and overseeing compliance work.
  • Preparing and reviewing corporation tax returns, including group structures.
  • Calculating and advising clients of quarterly instalment payments.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships and providing ongoing tax support.
  • Liaising with HMRC to resolve client queries and handle communications.
  • Preparing and reviewing trust and estate tax returns.
  • Reviewing the work of junior team members and supporting their training and development.
  • Assisting with workflow management to ensure deadlines and service standards are met.
  • Keeping up to date with legislation and sharing knowledge within the team.

To be considered, you will need:

  • Solid knowledge of UK corporation tax.
  • Experience preparing and reviewing company tax returns independently.
  • A proactive and professional approach, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, prioritise tasks, and maintain a high standard of client service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in various accounting software and MS Office.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
