We are seeking a professional, organised and friendly Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our firm, you will provide a warm and professional welcome to clients and visitors, manage the day-to-day running of reception and support the smooth operation of the office through a range of general administrative and office support duties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering excellent client service.
The Role:
- Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, handling enquiries efficiently
- Manage incoming and outgoing post and deliveries
- Maintain a tidy and professional reception area
- Schedule and coordinate client appointments and meetings
- Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Support the wider team with scanning, photocopying, and other office tasks
- Maintain office supplies and assist with ordering as needed
- Assist in keeping client records up to date in our internal systems
- Assist with a range of ad hoc office and practice support duties, including recycling management and general office tasks
To be considered, you will need:
- Friendly, professional, and confident communicator
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Willingness to learn and develop within the role
- A proactive and team-oriented approach
- Confident in dealing with colleagues, third parties and can work with total discretion
- Previous experience in a receptionist (desired but not essential)
