Our client is a rapidly growing global restaurant chain and they have an exciting new role for an experienced Local Marketing Executive. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Local Marketing Executive will lead the planning and delivery of impactful local marketing campaigns and new restaurant launches across the UK. Working collaboratively with restaurant partners, agencies, and the wider marketing team, you’ll bring the brand to life in local communities — driving awareness, footfall, and sales through creative, insight-led activity. This hands-on, fast-paced role covers the full opening journey, from generating pre-launch buzz to tracking post-launch performance, while also supporting ongoing local marketing for existing restaurants.

Main Responsibilities
  • New Restaurant Openings
    • Lead the planning and execution of marketing activity for all new restaurant openings across the UK.
    • Develop and deliver detailed launch plans, ensuring each opening drives maximum awareness, traffic, and sales.
    • Coordinate local digital, social, PR, influencer, and experiential activations that align with national brand campaigns.
    • Manage opening timelines, budgets, and marketing materials in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Work closely with restaurants and operations teams to ensure a seamless and impactful launch experience.
    • Be on-site for key openings to oversee activation delivery and support local engagement.
    • Analyse post-launch results, providing reports and recommendations to refine future opening strategies.
  • Local Marketing Activation
    • Develop and execute local marketing plans that drive awareness, engagement, and repeat visits for existing restaurants.
    • Work to plan and activate campaigns aligned to national promotions and brand priorities.
    • Help build relationships with local influencers, universities, community organisations, and media partners.
    • Create and deliver local marketing toolkits, templates, and best-practice guides for partners.
    • Monitor and analyse campaign performance to optimise future initiatives.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
    • Act as a key point of contact on local marketing support and guidance.
    • Collaborate with the national marketing, operations, and creative teams to ensure consistent and effective brand delivery.
    • Coordinate with external agencies, suppliers, and media partners to deliver high-quality marketing assets and activations.
    • Ensure all activity is brand-compliant and commercially focused.
  • Reporting & Insights
    • Track and report on campaign performance across new restaurant openings and local activations.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to improve effectiveness.
    • Contribute to the sharing of best practice across the network.
Experience & Capabilities
  • 2–4 years’ experience in local marketing within retail, leisure or hospitality.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills — able to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Experience coordinating marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, social, PR, local activations).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and brand consistency.
  • Commercially minded and data-driven; confident interpreting campaign results.
  • Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel to support new restaurant openings and local campaigns.
