Working collaboratively with restaurant partners, agencies, and the wider marketing team, you’ll bring the brand to life in local communities — driving awareness, footfall, and sales through creative, insight-led activity. This hands-on, fast-paced role covers the full opening journey, from generating pre-launch buzz to tracking post-launch performance, while also supporting ongoing local marketing for existing restaurants.

Main Responsibilities

  • New Restaurant Openings
  • Lead the planning and execution of marketing activity for all new restaurant openings across the UK.
  • Develop and deliver detailed launch plans, ensuring each opening drives maximum awareness, traffic, and sales.
  • Coordinate local digital, social, PR, influencer, and experiential activations that align with national brand campaigns.
  • Manage opening timelines, budgets, and marketing materials in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with restaurants and operations teams to ensure a seamless and impactful launch experience.
  • Be on-site for key openings to oversee activation delivery and support local engagement.
  • Analyse post-launch results, providing reports and recommendations to refine future opening strategies.
  • Local Marketing Activation
    • Develop and execute local marketing plans that drive awareness, engagement, and repeat visits for existing restaurants.
    • Work to plan and activate campaigns aligned to national promotions and brand priorities.
    • Help build relationships with local influencers, universities, community organisations, and media partners.
    • Create and deliver local marketing toolkits, templates, and best-practice guides for partners.
    • Monitor and analyse campaign performance to optimise future initiatives.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
    • Act as a key point of contact on local marketing support and guidance.
    • Collaborate with the national marketing, operations, and creative teams to ensure consistent and effective brand delivery.
    • Coordinate with external agencies, suppliers, and media partners to deliver high-quality marketing assets and activations.
    • Ensure all activity is brand-compliant and commercially focused.
  • Reporting & Insights
    • Track and report on campaign performance across new restaurant openings and local activations.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to improve effectiveness.
    • Contribute to the sharing of best practice across the network.

    Experience & Capabilities

    • 2–4 years’ experience in local marketing within retail, leisure or hospitality.
    • Strong project management and organisational skills — able to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
    • Experience coordinating marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, social, PR, local activations).
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and brand consistency.
