Our client is a market leading ecommerce retailer who are looking for an ambitious Head of Digital. Your role will be to lead the Digital Marketing team and profitably scale digital activities via efficient and effective processes, budget management, and creative strategies. You will develop the team to support these activities. You will identify and implement new digital activities as appropriate, project managing web improvements and other tech implementations to support marketing requirements.
Responsibilities:
- PPC: working with internal PPC staff and external partners to maximise PPC scale and profitability. This includes taking ownership of recommending budget adjustments and changes to campaign structure, as well as managing feed and content improvements to support this. To ensure margin and inventory is being taken account of appropriately within PPC campaign structures.
- Paid Social: working with internal staff to manage Paid Social, which is primarily Meta, ensuring smooth campaign setup and budget management. To recommend and implement improvements to campaign structure to improve revenue, scale, and profitability. To liaise with digital content staff to ensure that they have the best creative to facilitate growth in this area.
- Email marketing scheduling: ensuring there is a robust process in place to identify the strongest available email formats, themes, and products and schedule appropriately, taking inventory availability and other business context into account. To work with the email team to ensure that this is being executed successfully to maximise revenue.
- CRM: to recommend and implement improvements to CRM strategies to better segment email lists for maximised revenue and improved targeting.
- Identifying, prioritising, recommending, and implementing projects to improve website UX, UI, and back-end processes to increase revenue and profitability.
- Identifying new digital opportunities and recommending/implementing where appropriate. This could include new channels or partnerships.
- Participate in the active rollout of AI solutions to improve revenue generation and efficiency within the business.
- Budget planning and forecasting, as well as digital reporting, analysis, and communication.
We are looking for a digital all-rounder who has worked in a consumer ecommerce environment at Head of level or an experienced manager looking for a step up.
