ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This is an exciting and multifaceted role and is well suited to someone looking to gain practical cross functional experience across Commercial, Finance, Revenue Management and Operations. You will be responsible for leading the commercial finance month end Gross to Net process, working closely with the commercial team to review accruals versus actuals and forecast future accruals. You will also be responsible for analysis versus KPIs and subsequent reporting to the UK organisation and central finance function. In addition, you will be responsible for demand forecasting, working closely with the Commercial and Operations & Logistics teams to ensure forecast accuracy. The company operates a flat organisation structure, providing both autonomy and regular exposure to members of the board which, in combination with the multifaceted nature of the role, offers excellent opportunities for personal and professional development as the company continues to expand and innovate. The role will primarily focus on our UK business but there will be opportunities across other international markets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Influence and lead internal stakeholders at all levels to balance competing business demands
- Maintain and iterate existing finance reports and dashboards and lead review of performance versus KPIs
- Manage the Gross to Net position for the UK organisation and support other markets as required
- Play a lead role in the demand plan forecasting for the UK across the Commercial, Operations & Finance functions
- Input into quarterly planning cycles and AOP setting
- Support with the analysis of field team metrics to deliver actionable insight and optimise performance
- Assist in OPEX forecasting and reporting
- Support wider team with adhoc duties/projects where required
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.
PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-5 years’ experience in an Operations / Commercial Finance / Revenue Management / Sales position within an FMCG environment
- A commercial mindset and strong understanding of sales, budgeting and forecasting principles
- A naturally curious self-starter with a constant growth mindset, always looking for opportunities to optimise with a clear focus on key metrics and deliverables
- Highly competent in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, balancing competing demands of stakeholders and managing multiple work streams concurrently
- High degree of numeracy and ability to see the bigger picture
- Ability to navigate a commercial value chain

- BA/BS degree preferred but not required
