We work hard and care about our most prized asset - our people. We’re helping businesses get off the ground by enabling them to focus on running their business. We solve HR issues. We're united by shared goals and shared motivations at Justworks. These are best summed up in our company values, which are reflected in our product and in our team. If this sounds like you, you’ll fit right in.
You're an experienced benefits professional who thrives at the intersection of operational execution and strategic program building. You know EMEA benefits landscapes inside and out — the regulatory nuances, the broker ecosystems, the carrier dynamics — and you're equally energized by the challenge of building scalable processes and programs from scratch. You'll join as a key member of the International Benefits team, initially owning EMEA benefits operations end-to-end while progressively taking on broader program management responsibilities as the function matures. This is a role for someone who wants to build, not just maintain — you'll have the opportunity to shape how Justworks delivers benefits across a rapidly expanding international footprint.
Your Success Profile
- EMEA Benefits Operations: Own the full benefits lifecycle for EMEA markets — procurement, renewals, plan design, vendor/broker management, and employee support. You'll be the regional expert ensuring our benefits offerings are competitive, compliant, and locally relevant.
- Country Launches: Partner with cross-functional teams (Legal, Payroll, Product, CX, Revenue) to launch benefits in new EMEA markets. With 12 new countries planned in FY27, you'll be directly involved in ensuring every launch includes a strong benefits component from day one.
- Broker & Carrier Relationships: Build and manage relationships with local brokers, carriers, and benefits providers across EMEA. Negotiate terms, evaluate plan options, and ensure we're getting the best value for our clients and their employees.
- Data & Reporting: Track benefits enrollment, utilization, and cost data across EMEA markets. Use insights to inform plan design decisions, identify opportunities for improvement, and report on the health of the benefits portfolio.
- Program Management (evolving): As the function matures, take on increasing ownership of the benefits program operating cadence — cross-functional coordination, goal-setting, stakeholder reporting, and process design. Help build the "operating system" for how Justworks manages international benefits at scale.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Legal, Payroll, and Customer Success to ensure benefits decisions are integrated into the broader international strategy. Serve as the benefits voice in country expansion planning and client-facing discussions.

- Grit: You demonstrate grit by having the courage to commit and persevere. You’re committed earnest, and dive in to get the job done well with a positive attitude.
- Integrity: Simply put, do what you say and say what you'll do. You’re honest and forthright, have a strong moral compass, and strive to match your words with your actions while leading by example.

Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in international benefits, with deep knowledge of EMEA markets (UK, EU, and expansion markets). Experience with benefits procurement, renewals, broker/vendor management, and plan design in a multi-country environment. Track record of supporting or leading benefits launches in new markets.
- Skills: Strong understanding of EMEA regulatory environments as they relate to employee benefits and statutory requirements. Experience managing broker and carrier relationships, including RFPs, renewals, and contract negotiations. Ability to analyze benefits data (enrollment, utilization, cost) and translate insights into recommendations. Program or project management experience — comfortable building processes, defining cadences, and coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
- Attributes: Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building from scratch — this is not a maintenance role. Strong communicator who can work effectively across time zones and cultures. Excited about the prospect of growing from a regional operational role into a broader program management function. Self-directed and proactive — you don't wait to be told what needs doing.
