Own how JustTip shows up in the world and turn a fast-growing fintech into a brand and a community people talk about. This is a new role. You will not be inheriting a content calendar or a playbook. You will set the agenda, create work you are proud of, and turn an audience into a genuine community both online and in person. As our dedicated voice across social and content, you will impact how the market sees JustTip and build real relationships with our customers, our partners, and the wider hospitality industry.
A typical week might mean scripting and filming a short video with a real venue, writing a sharp LinkedIn post that lands with operators, writing a thought leadership piece on where tipping and tronc are headed, planning a meetup with a partner venue, and organising the details for an upcoming event.
About JustTip: JustTip was founded in 2021 by James and Ciara, two young founders with a vision to change the way hospitality manages tips, taking the headache out of it for both staff and operators. Fast forward five years, and with legislation finally catching up, JustTip has grown into a team of 23 passionate, driven people who all bought into the same vision from day one. We work hard, we move fast, and we genuinely enjoy doing it. Whether it's a big company win or a Friday afternoon that somehow turns into an impromptu team lunch, we know how to have a good time. There's no such thing as a quiet day here, the laughs are guaranteed, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
Why now: Tipping legislation is tightening across the UK, and every hospitality business is being forced to take it seriously. We have spent five years building the platform that makes compliance simple, and the market is finally catching up to why that matters. At the same time, we have reached a stage where our growth depends on more than a good product. We have real customers and a real community forming around us, and it needs someone dedicated to looking after it properly. That is this role.
The role: As Content & Community Lead, you will own JustTip's presence across social, brand, content, and community end to end. You will run the content calendar, create and produce the work, manage the community, run paid social against clear targets, and work closely with partners on events and collaborations that bring that community together offline as well as on.
What you'll own:
- Content strategy: the calendar, the themes, and the tone that make JustTip instantly recognisable.
- Our social channels: LinkedIn, Instagram, X, TikTok, and Substack, from planning through to posting and reporting.
- The content itself: sharp, on-brand copy with no fluff, plus filming, briefing, or producing the creative that brings it to life.
- Community: replying to comments, DMs, and mentions, and building real relationships with customers, operators, and partners, both online and face to face.
- Events and partnerships: planning and running meetups, panels, or activations with partners, customers and industry voices, turning our community into people who show up for us in person as well as online.
- Paid social: planning and running LinkedIn and Meta campaigns against clear performance targets, then tracking, reporting, and acting on what works.
- Industry radar: keeping a pulse on hospitality and fintech news and spotting content opportunities before anyone else does.
- Cross-functional partnership: working with sales and marketing on launches, regional campaigns, events, and content collaborations with customers and partners.
What we're looking for:
- 3+ years creating your own content or working in a digital content creator role.
- Comfortable both on camera and behind it, and quick to turn an idea into a finished post.
- Strong, direct copywriting with a clear point of view and no fluff.
- Fluent with AI tools for content research, drafting, and production, and thoughtful about where the human judgement still matters.
- Working knowledge of social scheduling tools and Meta and LinkedIn Ads Manager, and a feel for how content gets discovered in search and AI answer engines.
- Comfortable organising and running events with partners, and building relationships that outlast a single campaign.
- A builder who wants ownership, takes initiative, and works well across teams.
You do not need a marketing degree or agency background. If you can show us content you are proud of and a real feel for building an audience, we want to hear from you.
What you'll get:
- Hybrid working from our London base, balancing time together with flexibility.
- Pension and other core benefits.
- Access to ESOP.
- Genuine ownership of a function, with the equipment and tools to create great work.
- A culture of inclusivity, innovation, transparency, and a real sense of fun, with impact you can see every day.
