You’ll join a thriving Wakefield secondary school as a full‑time Science Teacher, delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons — Plan and teach high‑quality Science lessons that spark curiosity and deepen understanding.
- Maintain strong classroom presence — Ensure excellent behaviour and a purposeful learning environment.
- Track student progress — Assess, monitor, and report on attainment, using data to inform teaching.
- Collaborate with colleagues — Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development.
- Support GCSE learners — Guide students of all abilities, including those preparing for examinations.
- Engage in wider school life — Attend meetings, CPD, and pastoral activities.
Pre‑requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Secondary Science at KS3 and KS4.
- Demonstrable ability to command a classroom with confidence and clarity.
- Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour‑management skills.
