This 0.6 long‑term role from September 2026 until Christmas 2026 offers the chance to inspire ambitious learners, contribute to a high‑performing department, and teach subjects that shape how young people understand the world of finance, markets, and enterprise. Key Responsibilities:
- A‑Level Delivery — Teach engaging, well‑structured A‑Level Economics lessons, with some Business teaching as required.
- Student Achievement — Track progress, provide targeted feedback, and help students achieve strong outcomes.
- Curriculum Collaboration — Contribute to schemes of work and share best practice within a supportive team.
- Assessment & Preparation — Prepare learners for internal and external assessments with clarity and confidence.
- Classroom Standards — Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and independence.
Pre‑requisites:
- A‑Level Experience — Essential experience teaching A‑Level Economics (and ideally some Business).
- Teaching Qualification — PGCE, QTS, or equivalent.
- Subject Mastery — Strong understanding of micro, macro, and applied economic concepts.
- Communication Strength — Clear, confident, and engaging delivery.
- Learner Commitment — A genuine passion for supporting students at a pivotal stage in their education.
