About the role:
Justteachers is recruiting an enthusiastic SEN Mathematics Teacher for a specialist school in Stratford-upon-Avon, starting in September 2026. The school supports students with a range of additional learning needs and is looking for a teacher who can inspire confidence and achievement through creative and accessible maths teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver differentiated Mathematics lessons to students with varying SEN needs.
- Develop engaging lesson plans that support individual learning goals.
- Use innovative approaches to make mathematical concepts accessible and enjoyable.
- Track student attainment and progress against EHCP targets.
- Support students’ social, emotional, and academic development.
- Collaborate with support staff, parents, and external professionals.
- Maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment.
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Mathematics within a mainstream or specialist SEN setting.
- Understanding of Autism Spectrum Conditions, ADHD, and other learning differences.
- Strong organisational and assessment skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to suit individual learning styles.
- Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to undergo checks.
- Passion for improving outcomes for students with additional needs.
