About the role:
Justteachers is seeking a part-time English & Maths Tutor to join an alternative provision setting starting in September in the Spalding area to cover on a long-term, temporary to permanent basis.
The setting supports young people who are not accessing mainstream education, delivering structured provision focused on core skills, engagement and individual support plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted English and Maths tuition on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Plan and deliver adapted learning sessions to meet individual needs and address gaps in attainment
- Support pupils' engagement, progress and confidence in line with individual learning plans
Pre-requisites:
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. teaching qualification or subject specialism in English or Maths)
- Experience working with learners in an alternative provision setting or supporting additional needs
- Knowledge of intervention strategies, adapted teaching and behaviour management
- Two education or school-based references
