About the role:
justteachers are supporting a primary school in Rugby to recruit a SEND Learning Mentor. This is a full-time role with a September 2026 start, fixed term until the end of the academic year. The school has a nurturing approach to inclusion, strong pastoral support and excellent opportunities for behaviour and SEND training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with SEND and SEMH needs
- Deliver targeted intervention sessions
- Promote positive behaviour and resilience
- Work collaboratively with teachers and families
Pre-requisites:
- Level 2 or higher teaching assistant qualification or equivalent (Must be relevant to working with children)
- Proven experience working with children in a school or relevant setting (That can be referenced)
- A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
