About the role:
Justteachers are seeking an enthusiastic and resilient SEN Teacher to join a specialist secondary SEN provision in Rugby from September 2026.
The school supports students aged 11-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), and associated behavioural challenges. This role would suit a teacher who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people and helping them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across Key Stage 3.
- Support students with SEMH needs, ASC, and additional learning difficulties.
- Develop positive relationships that promote engagement, confidence, and achievement.
- Implement personalised learning plans and behaviour support strategies.
- Track and monitor student progress and attainment.
- Work alongside support staff and external professionals.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive school culture.
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour.
- Strong classroom management and de-escalation skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual learner needs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
