About the role:
Justteachers is seeking an EYFS SEND Teaching Assistant who is looking for a Long term role, in a Primary school in the Rishton area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in the new academic year starting September 2026

Key Responsibilities:
- Individual SEND Support — Provide 1:1 assistance tailored to the child’s specific needs, ensuring they can access learning and make strong progress.
- EYFS Classroom Support — Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging, play‑based learning activities.
- Behaviour & Emotional Regulation — Use positive strategies to help the child develop confidence, independence, and self‑regulation skills
- Collaboration with Staff — Communicate effectively with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to support the child’s development
Pre-requisites:
- Experienced in SEND or eager to develop their skills in this area
- Patient, nurturing, and committed to inclusive education
- Confident supporting early communication, sensory needs, or developmental delay
- Able to build strong, trusting relationships with young children
