About the role:
Justteachers is seeking a passionate Primary Teacher (SEMH) to join a supportive school on a long-term basis.
This full-time role is due to commence in September, with shortlisting currently underway. The school provides a nurturing and structured environment, with a strong focus on supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs and helping them build confidence and re‑engage with learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging primary lessons tailored to pupils with SEMH needs
- Creating a calm, consistent, and supportive classroom environment
- Supporting pupils’ emotional regulation, behaviour, and social development alongside their academic progress
Pre-requisites:
- Relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
- Experience working with pupils with SEMH or additional needs
- A strong understanding of behaviour management and trauma‑informed approaches
- Two education or school‑based references
