About the role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Nursery Teaching Assistant, who is looking for a long term role in a Nursery school in the Preston area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in September 2026, with shortlisting currently underway.

Key Skills and Attributes:
- Support children’s development through structured play
- Assist with daily nursery routines and activities
- Encourage language and communication development
- Support children’s personal, social and emotional growth
- Prepare engaging learning resources and environments
- Supervise indoor and outdoor learning activities
- Observe and record developmental milestones
- Support children’s health, safety and wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with nursery staff and parents
- Promote positive behaviour and independence
Pre-requisites:
- Relevant Early Years qualification
- Previous UK nursery experience essential
- Understanding of the EYFS Framework
- Passion for supporting young children’s development
