About the role:
We have an exciting role for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, who is looking for a long term role in a Primary school in the Preston area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in September 2026, with shortlisting currently underway.

Key Skills and Attributes:
- Deliver targeted interventions in phonics, reading and maths
- Support pupils with EHCPs and additional learning needs
- Assist with planning and adapting classroom activities
- Monitor and record pupil progress against learning objectives
- Lead small group learning sessions independently
- Support behaviour management in line with school policy
- Prepare classroom resources and learning materials
- Promote pupil engagement and participation in lessons
- Provide feedback to teachers on pupil attainment
- Support safeguarding and pupil wellbeing throughout the school day
Pre-requisites:
- Minimum Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Previous UK primary school experience essential
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
- Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
