About the role
We are recruiting a knowledgeable and motivated A Level Business Teacher to join a forward-thinking post-16 setting from September on a full-time temporary to permanent contract, working 8am–4pm. Based in a supportive educational environment, this role involves delivering high-quality Business Studies lessons at A Level, helping students achieve their academic and career aspirations. The institution is recognised for its strong academic outcomes, supportive leadership, and commitment to student success and progression.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging A Level Business lessons in line with examination board requirements
- Support students in developing critical thinking, analytical, and exam skills
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing timely feedback
- Create an inclusive and focused learning environment that encourages achievement
- Contribute to departmental planning and wider college initiatives
Pre-requisites
- Relevant qualifications, including QTS or equivalent
- Proven experience of teaching Business Studies at A Level
- Strong knowledge of A Level Business curriculum and assessment criteria
- Two education or school-based references
- Excellent subject knowledge, organisational skills, and the ability to motivate post-16 learners
