About the role:
justteachers is seeking a Forest School Support Assistant to join a vibrant specialist school in the Colne area to cover on a long-term basis. The part-time post is due to start in September 2026, with shortlisting currently taking place.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils with SEND during Forest School sessions and outdoor learning activities
- Assisting with the setup and safe delivery of nature-based tasks and sensory exploration
- Encouraging independence, teamwork, and resilience through outdoor play and structured activities
Pre-requisites:
- Relevant qualifications or training in Forest School, outdoor education, or child development
- Proven experience supporting children with SEND, SEMH, or complex needs
- Strong knowledge of outdoor learning principles and safeguarding procedures
- Two education or school-based references
