About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Primary Teacher to join a busy and welcoming primary school in Huntingdon on a part-time basis from September until Easter 2027. This vibrant school is known for its strong team ethos and fast-paced, engaging environment, where staff are committed to delivering high-quality education and supporting every child to succeed. The school provides a supportive setting with a focus on collaboration and maintaining high standards across all areas of learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, and marking (pro-rata)
- Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to meet a range of abilities
- Supporting pupil progress and maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity of learning
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Key Stage 2
- Confidence in teaching mixed-age classes and adapting lessons to suit varied abilities
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to thrive in a busy environment
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one), along with relevant references and the right to work in the UK
