Humanities Teacher

The school are looking for a Humanities teacher to join them as soon as possible in January 2025, but are willing to wait for the right candidate. There is a strong possibility the role will be made permanent.

• The successful candidate will be experienced teaching in KS3 and KS4 and have a thorough up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum and age-related expectations

• The school benefits from an extremely supportive SLT and offers opportunity for career progression

• To succeed in this Mathematics teaching role, you will need to be a strong classroom practitioner who can engage with pupils and make an immediate impact to their education

You will have:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

• Two education/school-based references

• Have a positive outlook and look to instil this in your teaching to raise pupil’s aspiration

• A strong commitment to raising standards

• Have high expectations for teaching, learning and behaviour, * Bachelor’s (preferred)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

• QTS (preferred)
