About the role:
Justteachers is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher with SEN responsibilities to join a welcoming school in the Harrogate area on a long-term basis.
This full-time role is due to commence in September, with shortlisting currently underway. The school provides a supportive and inclusive environment, with a strong focus on meeting the needs of pupils with SEND and ensuring all learners are supported to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging primary lessons adapted to meet a range of SEN needs
- Supporting pupils’ academic progress alongside their social and emotional development
- Working closely with the SENDCO and support staff to implement and review individual support plans
Pre-requisites:
- Relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN within a primary classroom setting
- A strong understanding of differentiation and inclusive teaching strategies
- Two education or school‑based references
