About the Role:
Justteachers is recruiting a nurturing and enthusiastic Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant for a long-term role in a primary school in Halifax. The school is committed to providing a stimulating and supportive Early Years environment where children can develop confidence, independence and a love of learning. A permanent position is available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
- Deliver engaging activities to support early literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
- Assist with observations, assessments and tracking pupil progress.
- Support children’s social, emotional and behavioural development.
- Help maintain a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment.
- Work closely with teachers, support staff and parents to support pupil outcomes.
Pre-requisites:
- Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification.
- Experience working within an EYFS setting.
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
- A caring, patient and proactive approach.
- Strong safeguarding knowledge and practice.
- Ability to provide two education-based references.
