About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive SEN school in Evesham from September 2026. This full-time position will involve supporting pupils across the Primary Phase, including EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, who have a range of additional needs including Autism, SEMH, SLD and Complex Learning Difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs.
- Support the delivery of personalised learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher.
- Promote pupil engagement, communication and social development.
- Implement behaviour support strategies and positive reinforcement techniques.
- Assist pupils with personal care where required.
- Monitor pupil progress and contribute to observations and record keeping.
- Support the creation of a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and families to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
Pre-requisites:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN, particularly Autism and complex needs.
- Knowledge of EYFS and Primary curriculum approaches.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to remain calm, patient and adaptable in challenging situations.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
