About the role:
We are on the look-out for an experienced Cover Supervisor to work in a welcoming Secondary Academy in the Bourne area. This is a full-time role but is open to part-time candidates also. The role is starting September 2026 and will be on a long-term supply basis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher
- Covering classes across KS3-KS4
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Provide support to departments and contribute to the wider school environment
- Maintain a calm, safe, and respectful classroom atmosphere
Pre-requisites:
- Proven experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar educational role
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with students of all abilities.
- Friendly, positive, and confident demeanor with the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to cover a wide variety of subjects and year groups.
