About the role:
Justteachers are working in partnership with a number of welcoming Primary schools in and around Boston who are looking to recruit enthusiastic and adaptable KS1 Teachers for flexible ad hoc supply work starting as soon as possible.
These schools offer supportive and engaging learning environments where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence and build strong foundations in their early education. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers who are looking for flexibility while continuing to teach within Key Stage 1 settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre planned lessons across the KS1 curriculum
- Support pupils with early reading, writing, maths, and phonics development
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Maintain classroom routines and behaviour expectations
- Adapt quickly to different schools, classes, and teaching environments
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Provide feedback to school staff at the end of each placement
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
- A good understanding of phonics and early learning development
- The ability to adapt confidently to different classroom environments
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- A flexible and professional approach to supply teaching
- Two recent education based references
