About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Humanities Teacher to join a welcoming secondary academy in the Boston area. The role is due to commence September 2026 and will be on long-term supply for a full academic year.
With excellent sports and extracurricular facilities, staff can lead activities that enrich pupils’ skills and confidence beyond the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach KS3 and KS4 History and/or Geography, with potential for KS5 depending on experience
- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire a love of learning
- Contribute to the wider Humanities department and school community
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Specialism in either History or Geography with strong subject knowledge
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Experience teaching across Key Stage 3 and 4
- Ability to provide two education or school based references
