About the role:
justteachers is looking for a motivated and passionate SEN Maths Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Birmingham from September 2026. This role offers the opportunity to inspire students of varying abilities while delivering engaging lessons that build confidence and mathematical understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience advantageous).
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge learners.
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
- Differentiate lessons to support all learning abilities.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school community.
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Maths.
- Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- A positive and proactive attitude towards teaching and learning.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
