About the role:
Justteachers is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to work at a secondary school in the Bradford area. This is a full-time, fixed-term position from September until December 2026, ideal for a passionate educator looking to make an impact within a supportive and well-established humanities department.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Teach students across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 depending on experience
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and attainment
- Differentiate lessons to meet the varied needs and abilities of learners
- Maintain strong classroom management and create a positive learning environment
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including departmental meetings and school events
- Uphold safeguarding and child protection policies at all times
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree in Geography or a related subject
- Recent experience teaching Geography in a UK secondary school
- Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Geography curriculum
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS certificate
- Two school based references
