About the role:
Justteachers is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive school in Keighley on a long-term basis.
This full-time role is due to commence in September, with shortlisting currently underway. The school places a strong emphasis on behaviour support and pupil wellbeing, providing a structured and nurturing environment to help learners develop positive behaviours and re-engage with their education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils with behavioural and emotional needs on a one-to-one or small-group basis
- Promoting positive behaviour and supporting pupils with emotional regulation strategies
- Working closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and SEND teams to support individual progress
Pre-requisites:
- Relevant experience working in a behaviour mentor, pastoral, or SEND-based role
- Experience supporting children or young people with behavioural or SEMH needs
- A strong understanding of behaviour management and de-escalation techniques
- Two education or school-based references
