About the role:
A vibrant and nurturing primary school in Batley is seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join their Early Years team from September 2026. This full-time, long-term role is ideal for someone who thrives in a creative, play-based environment and is passionate about giving young learners the strongest possible start. You will be part of a warm, collaborative setting that values curiosity, independence, and joyful learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Early Years Curriculum Delivery — Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Child-Centred Learning — Create a stimulating environment that encourages exploration, imagination, and early skill development.
- Observation & Assessment — Track progress through high-quality observations, using insights to tailor learning experiences.
- Classroom Environment — Maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring space that supports emotional and social growth.
- Family Partnerships — Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support each child’s development.
- Safeguarding — Uphold all safeguarding policies and ensure the wellbeing of every child.
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
- Experience working within an Early Years setting.
- Excellent communication, creativity, and organisational skills.
- A nurturing, patient, and energetic approach to teaching young children.
- Commitment to reflective practice and continuous professional development.
