Art and Design Teacher

We are looking for an imaginative Art and Design Teacher who can bring their passion for creativity to the classroom. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that encourage students to express themselves artistically while developing technical skills across various mediums. Your role will also involve supporting students to build confidence in their abilities and foster a love for the arts., * Teach Art and Design across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential for involvement in KS5

• Create dynamic and interactive lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles

• Guide students in exploring different artistic techniques, materials, and processes

• Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support

• Encourage creativity and critical thinking, nurturing students’ individuality and self-expression

• Collaborate with the Art department on developing innovative curriculum ideas and extracurricular opportunities

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

• Specialism or significant experience in Art and Design

• Ability to inspire creativity and passion for the arts in students of all abilities

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage projects, including exhibitions or coursework

• A commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with artistic trends and education techniques, * Teaching: 1 year (required)

• Experience with children: 1 year (required)

• Organisational skills: 1 year (required)

• Leadership: 1 year (preferred)
