About the role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the Alcester area from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term supply position with an initial temporary contract and the opportunity to secure a permanent role following a successful three-month period. The school welcomes applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers and provides a supportive leadership team, excellent professional development opportunities and a positive working environment. The school is committed to nurturing every child’s potential through a caring, inclusive ethos and high expectations for learning and achievement.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports pupil progress and wellbeing.
- Assess, monitor and record pupil attainment, using data to inform future planning.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those requiring additional support.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support pupils’ academic and personal development
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teaching Status or equivalent
- Proven experience in Primary Education
- A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
