JustOT is recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Spinal Cord Injury Occupational Therapist to join a service based in Buckinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled OT with experience in neurological conditions, hand therapy and powered mobility to take on a rewarding locum role.
Job Details:
- Duration: 3 months initially, with review
- Working Hours: MondayFriday, 37.5 hours per week
- Part-time: Considered
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention for patients with spinal cord injuries and other neurological conditions.
- Apply your expertise in hand therapy and powered mobility to support patient independence and functional outcomes.
- Manage a clinical caseload, providing evidence-based, patient-centred care.
- Support and supervise junior staff where required.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and keep your continuing professional development (CPD) up to date.
- Travel between sites as required.
Essential Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy.
- Current HCPC registration.
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant post-registration experience.
- Clinical experience in hand therapy, powered mobility and neurological conditions.
- Experience supervising junior staff.
- Full driving licence and access to a car for travel between sites.
