We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our in-house multidisciplinary team in Aberdeen, supporting residents with complex neurological conditions. Working as part of a specialist team, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate rehabilitation and maintenance programmes designed to maximise independence, wellbeing, and quality of life for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments.
- Develop and implement individualised rehabilitation and maintenance programmes.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including neuropsychology and physiotherapy colleagues.
- Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes and adapt interventions as required.
- Support residents with complex neurological conditions, including acquired brain injury and other neurological disorders.
Essential Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy (OT qualification).
- Current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Demonstrable experience working within neurological settings, including neurorehabilitation, acquired brain injury (ABI), stroke, or other complex neurological conditions.
- Strong understanding of neurological rehabilitation principles and evidence-based practice.
- Ability to work effectively within a specialist multidisciplinary team.
- Strong assessment, communication, and clinical reasoning skills.
- Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available).
