JustOT are looking to recruit a band 6 Emergency Department Occupational Therapist for a locum position with our client in East Sussex. The pay for this position is Β£20-Β£23 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.
Job Description:
- Occupational Therapist - To provide assessment and treatment to patients in ED, the acute floor and the acute beds, facilitate time discharges always thinking home first.
- The Front Door Integrated Discharge Team provides rapid and comprehensive assessment, working within an integrated model creating a seamless service across Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy enabling an efficient journey for patients.
- The team consists of Occupational Therapists, Discharge Co-Ordinator and Rehab Assistants.
- There is a strong Multi-disciplinary approach on the acute floor with collaborative working across the wider professions.
Successful candidates must hold a degree in occupational therapy and be HCPC registered.
