Our client is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our in-house multidisciplinary team in Aberdeen, supporting residents with complex neurological conditions. Working as part of a specialist team, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate rehabilitation and maintenance programmes designed to maximise independence, wellbeing, and quality of life for residents.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments.
Develop and implement individualised rehabilitation and maintenance programmes.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including neuropsychology and physiotherapy colleagues.
Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes and adapt interventions as required.
Support residents with complex neurological conditions, including acquired brain injury and other neurological disorders.
Essential Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy (OT qualification).
Current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
Demonstrable experience working within neurological settings, including neurorehabilitation, acquired brain injury (ABI), stroke, or other complex neurological conditions.
Strong understanding of neurological rehabilitation principles and evidence-based practice.
Ability to work effectively within a specialist multidisciplinary team.
Strong assessment, communication, and clinical reasoning skills.
Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available).
