JustOT are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Community Mental Health Occupational Therapist to join a team based in Lancashire, with an immediate start available.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Occupational Therapist with a background in community mental health to make a real difference in the lives of service users, supporting their recovery, independence and overall wellbeing.
The Role:
- Deliver specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions within a community mental health setting.
- Support service users to develop daily living skills, improve independence and engage in meaningful activities.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans.
- Promote recovery-focused and person-centred approaches to mental health care.
- Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist within mental health.
- Experience in a community mental health setting.
- Strong assessment, intervention and care-planning skills.
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary team working skills.
- HCPC registration.
