Our client is looking for a Lead Occupational Therapist Band 7 to provide senior clinical leadership and strategic direction for the Occupational Therapy service within the school. Deliver a highly specialist, evidence-based service for children with complex neurodevelopmental needs, ensuring integration across the transdisciplinary team and alignment with organisational strategy, clinical standards, and school goals.

Lead the Occupational Therapy service, shape strategic direction, contribute to senior management decision-making, and develop staff using our OT Competency Framework all with the backing of a collaborative senior team dedicated to supporting your growth and confidence.

Job Role:

  • Manage a specialist caseload of children with complex neurodevelopmental needs
  • Model expert clinical reasoning within a transdisciplinary approach
  • Embed OT practice into curriculum and daily routines
  • Support families through collaborative, strengths-based goal-setting
  • Drive clinical governance, quality improvement and evidence-based practice

Requirements:

  • HCPC registered OT with strong paediatric experience
  • Advanced skills in sensory processing, postural management, equipment and participation frameworks
  • Confident, compassionate leadership
