JustOT are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a Community Rehabilitation Team in Essex on a locum basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an autonomous OT with strong community rehabilitation experience, looking for a role where you can manage your own caseload and make a real difference to patients in the community.
The Role
- Independent assessment, treatment and discharge planning of patients within a community rehabilitation team
- Manage your own caseload and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Use recognised outcome measures and strong clinical reasoning to guide interventions
- Work autonomously while contributing effectively to the wider multidisciplinary team
- Support patients to maximise independence and achieve their rehabilitation goals
Requirements
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
- Post-qualification NHS experience
- Previous community and/or rehabilitation experience preferred
- Confident managing an independent caseload
- Strong assessment, treatment planning and discharge planning skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
Role Details
- Band: 6
- Location: Essex
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Working pattern: Monday-Friday, 08:30-16:30
- Part-time: Considered from 3 days per week (22.5 hours), depending on experience
