Band 6 Locum Community Falls Occupational Therapist South East London
JustOT are recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Community Falls Occupational Therapist to join a community-based service in South East London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced community OT with a background working with older adults and elderly fallers.
The Role:
- Assess and support older adults following falls in the community
- Complete functional and environmental assessments
- Assess and prescribe equipment and minor adaptations
- Provide appropriate OT interventions to promote independence and safety
- Work closely with the wider MDT
- Manage a caseload autonomously across the community
Requirements:
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
- Previous community OT experience working with older adults
- Experience working with elderly fallers
- Experience assessing and prescribing equipment and minor adaptations
