Locum B6 Community Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist Essex
The Role:
- Manage a community caseload, completing detailed assessments and treatment plans.
- Support patients with new stroke diagnoses through community rehabilitation.
- Work as part of an MDT, applying current stroke rehabilitation guidelines.
- Provide patient-centred rehabilitation for complex functional needs.
- Work collaboratively with patients, families and wider professionals to achieve meaningful goals.
- Assess and order appropriate equipment to promote independence and quality of life.
Requirements:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registration.
- Previous NHS community experience.
- Strong experience in community rehabilitation, ideally with stroke patients.
- Excellent communication and MDT working skills.
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am5pm
- Location: Essex
