B6 Locum Elderly Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist Suffolk
JustOT is currently recruiting for a Band 6 Locum Occupational Therapist to join an elderly rehabilitation team based in Suffolk.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist with a strong background in rehabilitation and discharge planning, supporting older adults to regain independence and return home safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a complex caseload of older adults.
- Assess mobility, transfers, falls risk and rehabilitation potential.
- Develop and deliver rehabilitation programmes within short timeframes to support safe and timely discharge home.
- Lead discharge planning from admission through to the transition back into the community.
- Complete onward referrals to ensure appropriate ongoing care and support.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff and students where required.
Essential Requirements:
- HCPC registration.
- Previous experience working at Band 6 level within elderly rehabilitation.
- Strong assessment, rehabilitation and discharge planning skills.
- Ability to manage a complex caseload independently.
- Must be a car driver.
