JustOT is currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a busy Acute Medicine team in South London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an OT with recent acute hospital experience who is looking for a rewarding locum role with competitive rates and ongoing support from a dedicated specialist consultant.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients within acute medical wards to support safe and timely discharge planning.
- Complete functional, cognitive, and environmental assessments.
- Develop patient-centred treatment plans to maximise independence.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, nurses, social workers, and medical staff.
- Provide equipment recommendations and support effective discharge planning.
Requirements
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
- Recent acute hospital experience within Acute Medicine or Acute Inpatient settings.
- Strong assessment, communication, and discharge planning skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to the multidisciplinary team.
