JustLend is a community wealth management platform designed to help banks efficiently manage the extensive networks of SACCOs they serve within a nation, along with the hundreds of thousands of individual members within those SACCOs. We are seeking an experienced and highly connected MENA Business Development Director to lead partnership development efforts with banks and financial institutions across the MENA region. The ideal candidate will leverage their existing network, knowledge of financial ecosystems, and strategic acumen to create and execute joint venture opportunities that align with our platform’s vision of transforming community-based savings and lending systems. This role will focus on establishing mutually beneficial partnerships, driving regional expansion, and ensuring that our platform achieves its full potential within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnership Development: Identify and connect with key stakeholders in banks and financial institutions across the MENA region to pitch joint venture opportunities. Build and nurture long-term relationships with potential partners to foster trust and collaboration. Conduct market analysis to identify key opportunities for platform expansion and penetration within the MENA financial ecosystem. Develop strategic plans for scaling operations in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Deal Structuring & Negotiation: Design innovative partnership frameworks, such as revenue-sharing, equity-based arrangements, or licensing models. Lead negotiations with prospective partners to finalize terms that benefit all parties.
  • Regional Representation: Serve as the face of the organization in the MENA region, representing the company at networking events, trade shows, and business forums. Work with marketing teams to leverage media exposure for strategic branding in the region.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with technical, operations, and compliance teams to ensure seamless onboarding of financial institutions and integration with their systems. Act as a bridge between regional partners and internal teams to streamline communication and execution.
