Homecare Assistant/Care Assistant in Alverthorpe, Wakefield. Complex Care with variable shift patterns: 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM (Day Calls), 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM (Night Calls), 10:00 PM – 08:00 AM (Waking Nights).

To join our team, you will contribute to delivering person-centred care within these homes, catering to service users with diverse and complex care needs, including those with Dementia. We provide attractive hourly rates, flexible work schedules, and weekly pay.
Role and Responsibilities:- Support all aspects of the care role as part of the team.
- Provide support with mobility and help service users move around.
- Assist service users with personal care (undressing, bathing, dressing, toileting, pad changes).
- Assist service users with their meals.
- Interact with service users in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
- Ensure the comfort and safety of the service users, including maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Use mechanical and non-mechanical aids to help residents when moving.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of service users’ activities, updating notes accordingly in care plans, etc.
- Hard working and honest.
- Valid care training certificate.
- Full, valid driving licence (personal vehicle an added advantage).
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a care setting.
- Current and valid enhanced DBS.
- Willing to be paid as a contractor under an umbrella company.
- Experience in customer service.
- Monthly pay with an attractive hourly rate.
