As a Homecare Assistant you will deliver person‑centred care to service users with diverse and complex care needs, including those with dementia.
Responsibilities- Support all aspects of the care role.
- Assist with mobility and help service users move around.
- Provide personal care such as undressing, bathing, dressing, toileting and pad changes.
- Assist with meals.
- Interact with service users in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
- Ensure comfort and safety of service users, maintaining a clean and organised environment.
- Use mechanical and non‑mechanical aids to assist residents when moving.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of service users’ activities and update care plans accordingly.
- Hard‑working and honest.
- Valid care training certificate.
- Full, valid driving licence (access to a personal vehicle an added advantage).
- Minimum six months experience in a care setting.
- Current and valid enhanced DBS.
- Willing to be paid as a contractor under an umbrella company.
- Experience in customer service.
- Weekly/monthly pay with an attractive hourly rate.
