Responsibilities
- Be an integral part of the team to support all aspects of the care role.
- Provide support with mobility and help service users move around.
- Assist service users with personal care (undressing, bathing, dressing, toileting, pad changes).
- Assist service users with their meals.
- Interact with service users in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
- Ensure the comfort and safety of the service users, including maintaining a clean and organised environment.
- Use any mechanical and non‑mechanical aids to help the residents when moving.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of service users' activities; update notes accordingly in care plans.
Qualifications
- Must be hard working and honest.
- Must have a valid care training certificate.
- Must have a full, valid driving licence (access to a personal vehicle will be an added advantage).
- Must have a minimum of 6 months experience in a care setting.
- Must hold a current and valid enhanced DBS.
- Must be willing to get paid as a contractor under an umbrella company.
- Must have experience in customer service.
